Nintex workflows fir Sharepoint
Overall Satisfaction with Nintex Process Platform
We use Nintex workflows to develop business process management flows. We use it for HR requests, it technical requests, permissions requests, contract management, and general aporoval requests. We use it also for notifications in our document archive SharePoint based solution.
Pros
- Our General approval workflow succesfully solves requests regarding HR documents, contracts (customer and intercompany), internal credit and ad-hoc approval workflows.
- Our IT request workflow addresses requests regarding hardware and software resources and also LOB applications permissions. Firewall access requests also addressed with this tool.
- Our OneTTM workflow fully manages IT development process projects. It includes gates and execution requests management.
- Workflow steps notifications and reminders for our customer documents archive are also managed with Nintex SharePoint eorkflows
Cons
- Working with regular expressions could be enhanced in my opinion.
- Also REST & SOAP workflow actions could be improved.
- Great time saver. Workflow development can be done very fast.
- Development can be delegated to non-technicaly trained users alowing effort distribution, cost and time reduction.
Through REST and SOAP web services we are integrated with internal and public applications.
We have online and real time access this way to internal and external data sources that allow us to offer to our internal customers a high level of integration that fastens business processes.
Nintex workflows has much complex process management tools and better integration tools than Microsoft Power Platform. Being able to host it on premises is also an important feature for companies that are not cloud fans.
