Overall Satisfaction with The Okta Identity Cloud

We currently use Okta Identity to allow our current employees ti be able to access any number of our employee portals, either on-site or off. This product also allows us to access the same employee portals from not only a standard computer or laptop, but mobile devices as well by sending a unique identifier code to verify the user's identity to gain access.

Pros

  • Mobile access.
  • On or off-site accessibility.
  • Unique identifier.
  • Multi-site accessibility.

Cons

  • Location visibility needs improvement.
  • Easier access to change a password.
  • Resetting mobile capabilities when changing to a new device.
  • Absolutely positive impact.
  • No longer must you sign on with user names and passwords when accessing different sites within the same network.
  • The product could use a better manual to help guide through the site easier without having to guess and hope.

Okta workplace is definitely well suited for salaried employees that need to be connected to their place of employment to access statistical results on the go. I can't think of any scenarios that would warrant this product be deemed as 'less appropriate.' So far, Okta has really gone above and beyond.

Using The Okta Identity Cloud

10000 - The retail management staff is our only staff that currently utilizes the program outside of the company campus. While inside the store, the rest of our employees have full access to any of our network sites, instead of just limiting them to their schedules and training sites for each of the departments.

The Okta Identity Cloud Support

Since I and my employees do not have to deal with Okta Support directly, I have nothing negative to base it upon. At my company, we have our own help desk that we deal with one on one and any issues. They deal with Okta support themselves, at a corporate level.
