Overall Satisfaction with ON24

We use ON24 on a quarterly basis (within my team) to run our Economics for Business Programme. It allows us to reach a wide pool of people given our audience base is wide reaching across UK (and not honed into a specific region). It also syncs up with our Marketo system making it easy for us to receive attendee updates and feedback on our events. It essentially smoothes our communication and also alleviates work that needs to be done from an events perspective. It's the virtual webinar system that we use, plus the analytics/reporting that comes with that.

  • Technical issues have appeared a lot
  • Costs have also recently increased (challenging us to review other alternative options)
  • Video functionality can feel a little dated at times
  • Acquired new leads into Marketo/our audience base
  • Customers have enjoyed the ability to ask questions and interact directly with our experts
  • It's enabled us to reach new audiences too (with sharing the ON24 registration link on our social channels)
We have our own BMC (Brand, Marketing and Communications) dashboard that has been setup and this includes 'Events' and 'Marketo' so we can track how ON24 is integrating with our CRM system. This reporting is done on a monthly basis and is a great way of figuring out how effective each of our events are.
I think we would need to invest a bit more into ON24's features and products but in terms of the virtual webinar, this works very well for us as we use it for our quarterly webinars and its a familiar platform for both our users and our speakers. It's made it easier for our speakers to be able to speak on whatever located is most suitable for them as well.
As you say, digital activity has become even more important over the years (especially since COVID) and ON24 was our main platform that was used during the 2 year period of COVID. It's allowed us to branch our our event experience and drive new leads within our marketing team in UK&I.

It works well when you audience is located all over a specific region (in the UK in this instance).
It also works well in this new hybrid world where less people are going into the office everyday and instead can login and attend the event at home.
ON24 can feel dated at times so we feel perhaps we should invest in adding new features to our event setup.
