Overall Satisfaction with Paycom

We currently use Paycom for processing payroll (biweekly) and have recently started the Applicant Tracking System
  • I love how and easy user friendly the Employee self service
  • love how employees have access to their accounts/portals
  • i love the tutorials provided to employees
  • its very simple and easy to use for employees/managers and directors of all different ages
  • possibly changing the original username provided from Paycom for example the number zero username of 0wf08---maybe Pwfp8...employees were not able to identify the number zero vs the letter O
  • In form 1 to please add in the employee status Resigned
  • Paycom is under central time since it is located in OK...have this change to reflect EST---We are in NJ as such we are always checking employees time clock and punches
  • how to process a punch change request go to time management read only, then (+) a little confusing most employees press request punch change but this is to view once you have added
  • Paycom is very easy and has saved time for managers/supervisor in missed clocked punches. We are no longer using paper time sheets!

For our company---- Paycom is the best we hire employees as young as 15/age 16 and as old/mature as 83 years old. We need a payroll/hr platform that is easy and user friendly for all ages. So far we are happy Paycom is able to accommodate all ages!

We have had several Paycom Specialist but overall we are happy and although we may never speak to our main specialist we are always happy with the paycom we speak to.
During the pandemic I was in close contact with Paycom and they provided customer service Erica LaFollette went above and beyond, so we were sad when she was promoted to a higher position. But her replacement Peyton Graham is just as great and helping and listening to our needs!
Yes our supervisors/managers are limited with time and Paycom has helped save time and process with payroll and elimimated the stress during time cards

Paycom Implementation

Implementation is always a crazy time so we were able to overcome this. As a NJ state we always have to make sure our taxes are set up and correct

As always implementation is a process like building a house you will discover some issues. We are located in Nj and Paycom is in OK, so we had a little bump with taxes and setting up our NJ paid sick leave but once we partnered with Paycom's IT dept we were able to set up and proceed with paycom
Change management was a minor issue with the implementation
  • we had to set up NJ taxes and set up the 1st year with Nj paid sick leave, but all matters were resolved
