For the Blue Ridge Companies HR team, Paylocity is essential. We use all features available and are always willing to test out new features as early adopters. From employee records, surveys, payroll, timekeeping, performance management, benefits, employee engagement and recruiting....you name it and Paylocity does it, seamlessly. Because all of these features are available in one spot our HR team is able to be efficient and effective.

The automations that Paylocity has provided with their software saves our HR department invaluable time. We are able to efficiently and effectively maintain all employee records, create and save reports that would normally take hours in minutes, instantly connect with our employees through push notifications and direct messaging, and process payroll in a much quicker way than we were with previous vendors. This leaves us time to focus on what the life blood of our business...our people. We have been able to focus on employee engagement, wellness, creating new benefits, etc. all because we actually have time to!
Community, Impressions, Surveys, and Premium Video have had a HUGE impact on how our associates interact with each other. Since we implemented Impressions in 2014 , Blue Ridge employees have recognized each other with over 3,464 impressions. 2,982 of those were awarded after implementing the Community Page in 2019. That shows you that the Community Page is where employees engage with each other. It is a central "pipeline" where our team members can interact, find vital information, play games (administered by our dept.), and so much more. The possibilities for engagement with Community and Premium video are endless with a little imagination.
Surveys has been a wonderful tool to use for getting real, unbiased opinions from our employees. We have surveyed employees on things such as benefits, satisfaction, policy changes, and even what they did or didn't like about company events. Again, the possibilities are endless and you get such valuable information. Also, the surveys are easy to create and send.
