Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
I needed an integrated product that would serve as our HRIS, including onboarding -- documenting new employee documents, including signatures record keeping -- documenting employee actions and equipment assigned time keeping -- recording PTO, holidays, floating holidays, other time off, and specialty work performed. Payroll -- regular pay, commissions, bonuses, and benefits off-boarding -- processing final pay, PTO payout, COBRA eligibility.
- Payroll processing.
- Electronic records, including signatures.
- Employee data dashboards.
- Training modules for administrators.
- Closing time entry and transferring to payroll is cumbersome.
- Multiple filters in different parts of screens make the user interface more difficult.
- The training catalog is extensive but for a new administrator, it is confusing to understand the natural progression of training. A sequential catalog for new users would be helpful.
- Administrators cannot simulate what end users are seeing. There should be a way for administrators to simulate other roles so they can understand what users experience.
- Having only processed four pay cycles, POI is too soon to measure. Time devoted to implementation has been much more than anticipated.
We are still learning how to handle core processes so we have not had time to devote to higher objectives.
