Has the potential to be great if the client support can be improved, and implementation was given more time.

Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
Payroll, records management, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, community, benefits enhanced, surveys.
- Community Board is nice to communicate to employees that dont use a computer
- Self service portal is nice that it has most-used areas in one place
- i like how customizable surveys can be
- Client Support! Although we recently have been assigned a new account manager that has been doing well, this has not been the case since we were implemented
- Implementation was awful. After our implementation person left Paylocity, the team we were assigned to just tried to push us through implementation as fast as possible, leaving many things still not perfected
- Its hard to get the help we need if we are unfamiliar with something. Everything we reach out for they just say "Here's a guide on how to fix" or "Fill out this form to start the process" without even knowing what some of these services and/or additions will be beneficial
- It seems like internal communication within Paylocity needs to drastically improve. If we have an issue that impacts multiple of THEIR departments, its like starting a new conversation each time. We have been told to contact another department for some issues, only to be directed back to the department we originally reached out to.
- The date insights are really nice, and help with reporting KPIs
- Recruiting and Onboarding are easy to track applicants and know who is coming
- I feel like there are more negative impacts than positive. 50% of the time I talk with support on the phone, I leave the call with the issue unresolved.
We still need help on the automation. Only a couple of workflows have been automated, but some important ones have not. Specifically with onboarding. We cannot automate a process that allows hiring manager to submit a new hire request, that is then cascaded from department to department, allowing each to do their part for a new hire, and sign off indicating it is complete. We have to use project management software for this, outside of Paylocity.
Also only a couple of HR action workflows are automated. Personnel action forms and workflows related to changes in status, employment, pay, etc have to go through a manual requisition process internally before we can take action in Paylocity

We pay for premium video, but have not been given any information as to how we can utilize this anywhere in the platform.
Community is really nice though and one of the best parts of Paylocity. Surveys are super customizable.
