Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Our organization is a small to medium sized business. We currently perform payroll only, though we continue to work towards implementing Time and Attendance. We have been well trained by the Paylocity staff. We hope to utilize HR services going forward as our HR role is limited onsite.
  • Training and Implementation from the start of our relationship
  • Reporting, we value Paylocity's wealth of reporting options
  • ease of use, performing the payroll function has been seamless as always
  • Security - I have not had an issue in the 20 plus years I have utilized Paylocity
  • Service for requests - the follow up is not existenet, I have to prompt though responses do arrive
  • PTO calculations - this should be more simple with Illinois law in place now, we have a request to provide running totals of time earned and used still in process
  • Paylocity has proven to be a very cost effective solution for our company. It has saved us greatly over our prior service provider to the tune of nearly 35% savings.
  • Reliability has made our lives easier, we had multiple delays in processing and delivery with our prior provider, we can focus on our tasks at hand
  • The savings have prompted us to consider the use of more products offered by Paylocity, soon to integrate HR management into our services used.
As previously stated, this is a real savings of time and associated cost. We, as managers, are given more time to focus on enhancing or producing, dependent on our tasks at hand. The automation has provided reliability - we know our costs timely and our financial reporting is current. Our employees are happy and that makes the company happy.
As a client, we have not lived up the Paylocity's expectations with regard to employee satisfaction and engagement. I have used those tools at other companies I have worked for, which have also utilized Paylocity with great effect. Monitoring those scores helps gauge the employee satisfaction - we want to keep them happy and producing to their peak potential. Those tools help make that happen.

I feel Paylocity is well suited for Mid Sized organizations, where HR is present within the organization. The platform needs a qualified administrator on the client side. For those organizations, certain other providers are simply too large and customer service falls off. Small organizations, absent an HR presence would be more difficult as that knowledge base is missing.
