Implementation Rating

Implementation of Procore was super simple. We were up and going in no time with the program. User adoption has been wonderful, mostly because of how easy the program is to use.

Ease of Integration

We seamlessly integrated Procore into our company processes and we have recently purchased the Sage integration piece, which was ridiculously easy to integrate.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Procore is used by everyone in our organization. Mostly in operations, but is used by other departments for information about projects. It addresses the consolidation of information and allows everyone to follow the progress of our projects.

Pros and Cons

Customer service is top notch. They respond immediately and usually fix the issues right then, if possible.
The ease of use is amazing. You can sit down with very little training, or even computer experience, and be able to find anything you need.
That Procore can take plans and specs and upload and name them, with just a quick review, you can allow all team members to see the most recent plans.

Change Events. The process of creating change orders to owners and to subs is a little cumbersome, and could use some streamlining. Particularly when you create change orders to subs, it doesn't carry the value forward. I understand they are working on this.
The cost of the program to be less, or at least includes all aspects of the program. There are some modules that you have to purchase at an additional cost.
Possibly some in person training. While their video training and customer support is phenomenal, sometimes in person training is helpful.

Collaboration Benefits

We have definitely benefited from the collaboration aspect of Procore. Architects can review and approve RFI's and submittals very easily. Owner's can review real time photos of their project, which helps with the review process of the monthly billings.

Return on Investment

I believe Procore has positively impacted us by saving time and increasing our efficiency in processing RFIs and submittals and allowing access to plans and specifications to all team members.

Alternatives Considered

Before getting Procore, we used Constructware. These are night and day different programs. Constructware was very difficult to use with very little training available and it was very cumbersome. They barely had any customer support, and no mobile app. And it was around the same price. On the flip side, Procore was exactly the opposite. Very easy to use, customer support available any time you need it, and they are constantly collaborating with the contractor community to improve their product.

Likelihood to Recommend

Procore is best suited for a commercial contractor, whether they are a general contractor, construction manager, or design build. It is less appropriate for residential contractors. And although subcontractors would get value out of it, it is more beneficial for a subcontractor to work with the general contractor's program, they don't necessarily need it themselves.
