Overall Satisfaction with Procore

The addition of Procore to our company has been a very positive aspect. Only downside would be the older generations not as connected with their technical side. Older generations are more likely to stick to the ways they have always done things. With that being said, Procore makes an easy to use software that helps with individuals that are not as technical. If the initial effort is made to learn the basics Procore makes the rest easy to learn.
Procore has done a wonderful job combining the various construction related documentation sources such as RFIs, transmittals, drawings, schedules, and punch lists all into one easy to use place. By using the tools tab you can efficiently locate or save the different forms of documents used every day in the construction world. Through the RFI tab I can quickly review past RFIs, who they were distributed to and who the approver was. Best of all once all the correspondence is complete on a single RFI the official response tag [we] make is quick and it's easy to see the final direction that needs to take place.
Within our company Procore is used across the board from executives, to project managers, the HR department, and field management personnel. It is used for document storage, drawings, daily logs, contract distribution, punch list, meeting agenda/minutes distribution, RFIs, submittals, photos storage, and transmittal. Procore helps confine the individual project documents into one easy to access program. Also, helps to limit or extend what documents can be modified or viewed by specific individuals. For individuals who are active on multiple projects it helps clearly separate the project documents.
  • Meetings tab - Procore has created an easy to use and well organized meeting agenda/minutes platform.
  • Daily log tab - Procore makes it easy to select what items are specific to a project's daily activities and personalize the platform for your liking.
  • Punch list tab - Procore makes it easy to input punch items with specific information as to who it pertains to, location, and responsibility. Also, it reminds [us about] trade on a daily basis.
  • Schedule tab - hard to update as day to day activities change so fluidly on construction projects.
  • Majority of subcontractors don't know how to properly use Procore. More specifically the apps.
  • An easier way to link RFIs back to the drawings tab in Procore.
I would say this is one of the most valuable aspects Procore provides to their clients. The ability to update the job specific items within Procore from on or off site. The various settings and limitations you can set for specific individuals it key when including so many individuals within one job. With all the job information capable of being updated at a moments notice and can be reviewed by all with the necessary access it helps the owners to view where the job current stands at any given time.
  • Reduced paper use.
  • Information/documentation distribution.
  • Documentation organization.
The overall organization and breakdown of construction-related items is great and incomparable to other software. The general construction of the software is very easy to use and understand once the initial time has been taken to review the software platform and how it works. The ability to personalize the platform for a specific job is a key feature for construction projects because of how different each and every project is.
