Yes, we have benefited from this. Once you get "buy-in" from your owners, subcontractors and design team members, collaboration tools and notifications of who's responsible for what including due dates and project updates are useful.

- Less email server space used as many documents are stored with links within the software
- Need to plan on spending a few months for training and implementation and designate an implementation team to set up and roll out software
Procore is much easier to implement and customize.
