Overall Satisfaction with Procore
Procore is used across our company for many project management needs. It's used in the field by the Superintendents for referencing drawings and other project related items as well as keeping daily reports. It's used in the office by the Project Managers and Project Manager Assistants for processing and tracking submittals, RFIs, etc.
- Submittals -- The logging, tracking, processing, etc. of submittals is so intuitive and user-friendly. After a brief training, most of our outside users (subcontractors, Architects, et.) feel comfortable navigating and processing submittals.
- Procore Sync -- Sync was released last year as a solution to file storage and syncing between users. There were many issues and we have since been advised to stop using Procore Sync. This was definitely a disappointment. Not only in the product not working properly, but also in Procore's lack of communication with its users regarding the known issues.
The ability to have anyone involved in a project added to Procore and given access to the project is very helpful. Understandably, outside parties are generally not as inclined to learn the program and change their work process, but it is helpful in granting access to the project information for anyone that is interested in it.
