Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online Advanced
We use QuickBooks Online Advanced as our one-stop shop for all invoicing, expense, revenue, and all other accounting functions. We also use it for our client database, annual renewals, budgeting, and payroll tracking. QuickBooks Online Advanced makes all of our financial tracking, goal setting, and up-to-the-minute financial reporting simple and available at the touch of a button.
- The user interface is simple for invoicing and tracking client balances and billing history.
- Expense tracking is simple, and with automatic online banking imports, it is incredibly easy and accurate.
- Monitoring financial reports could not be simpler. With custom KPIs, financial reports are customizable and easy to understand.
- The help and chat features are frustrating. And the process to get to someone and need to repeat your problem three different times is annoying and can be time consuming.
- It brings our books into focus. We are able to see where we are and be confident in the numbers, what they mean, and what the road forward looks like for us. It also assists in our decision making.
QuickBooks Online Advanced was very simple to set up. I simply followed the setup wizard and it automatically brought over all of our books from the desktop version. The learning curve was very mild and the interface, while very different, was fairly simple to learn and was actually more intuitive and easier to follow the traditional QuickBooks. I wish I had switched over sooner.
This is one of my favorite features. I am able to access QuickBooks Online Advanced from wherever I am. I don't need to worry about a computer crashing or if I am in the office. If my computer crashes, I just get another and log in and it's all there. If I am at home, I grab my laptop; if I am on the road, same story. If I am on vacation and an emergency arises, i can address that also. Never being out of touch is a good thing in that I never have to be out of the loop in the event of an emergency.
I don't know that it addresses my industry or business any more than the next business or industry. However, I cannot think of anything that QuickBooks Online Advanced does not offer and does not do that a small business or even a large business would need. It is customizable but does not allow you to stray too far from the GAAP rules.
Having used a few different accounting solutions, QuickBooks Online Advanced is easily the easiest and most efficient. I don't think I would even entertain switching to a different solution at this time.
