Overall Satisfaction with RingEX
We implemented RingEX a few months ago to replace our on-premises Cisco phone system which had reached end of life. It's being used in our statewide headquarters which houses approx. 20 employees. We needed a cloud-based VOIP system that offered better call handling (ability to answer calls from different devices), and RingEX is a leader in this.
- cloud-based
- ability to handle calls through desk phone as well as PC and phone app
- solid reputation in the industry
- As with many VOIP providers, they've grown so much that their training, online knowledgebase and customer service hasn't quite kept up with demand. Having said this, I haven't needed to reach customer service because their product is so solid.
- better handling of voicemails (voice to text transcription)
- fewer missed calls because users can answer work calls in a variety of ways
As previously stated, better call handling and improved voice-to-text transcription has improved our productivity. We've only used RingEX for a couple months so there may be more improvements and enhancements to come.
- Cisco Business Edition 4000 (discontinued) and GoTo Connect
RingEX is far superior to Cisco BusinessEdition (which is discontinued) and slightly better than GoTo (formerly Jive) that we use in a couple smaller offices.
