Overall Satisfaction with RingEX

We use RingEX at a property management company. We have a small but very busy office so it is necessary that our property owners and tenants are able to reliably reach us when necessary. We’ve had the system for several months now and it has been exactly what we need. It was simple to configure and allowed us to use our existing phones and workflow.

  • Can’t forward unanswered queue calls to external number without significant cost.

We have had zero issues with the reliability or call quality.
We are a small business. We do not need or use RingEX's advanced features. It would be useful if RingEX had a cheaper plan for small businesses that don’t need SMS, Conferencing, or other advanced features.
There were other providers that I looked at as well, but I don’t recall their names. One obstacle I kept running into was finding a provider that allowed us to use our existing Yealink desk phones. The phones were not cheap or attractive, and having a hardware phone works well in the business environment. Software phones may work well for call centers but not for our use case.

A managed service provider cannot easily purchase this service and administer/maintain it for their customers. I sometimes assist small businesses with their IT needs, but in order to do this with RingEX, we would have to pay for another user for our technicians to log in to maintain the system for the customer.
