Overall Satisfaction with RUN Powered by ADP

We just it for time and attendance and filing payroll for the whole company. It helps with keeping track of PTO and sick leave and simplifying the payroll process.
  • Time clock data is easily imported to payroll.
  • Payroll layout is clean and simple to read.
  • The Employee Access provides each employee his paystub and benefit info all in one location. I no longer need to disturb them.
  • ADP invitation email is marked as SPAM from a high level that it got stopped before reaching the inbox. Hence, we can't even find it in the junk mailbox. I had to make changes on the email server for the invitations to come thru.
  • It's frustrating for employees to set up their own account. Too many personal security questions. Password requirement is too complicated that they always forget their password.
  • Geo location doesn't work well. It's a hit or miss. Employees sometimes have a hard time clocking in via the APP.
  • With the mobile app, employee has easier access to their clock. We no longer have a line of people waiting to clock in/out. No more complaint about losing time.
  • PrimePay
We used PrimePay for years, but their time clock support sucks! It's not easy to find a good Time & Attendance with the Payroll service at a reasonable price. RUN does pretty good on this part. That's why we switched and never going back!
We are glad that ADP has a decent time clock that works directly with their payroll module "RUN". It's easy to use and straightforward.

However, their PTO/Vacation accrual calculation isn't flexible at all. We either have to maintain it manually to fit our need or we have to change our accrual rules to fit into their model. We opted for the latter to avoid on-going work, but it was such a fuss/ confusion for all employees to understand/get used to the new rules.

For some odd reason, Time off Request only works for future dates. Whenever employee called in sick or want to leave early, we have to manually adjust it on the time card, instead of an employee doing it himself. It's a hassle and time consuming for the manager.

Whenever we have any problem or concern, ADP is only a phone call or email away. Most of representatives are friendly and helpful. We are happy with ADP RUN so far.
