Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

Currently the only end users of Sage Intacct is the accounting department. It is our financial instrument, AR, AP, and reporting module. It integrates with Sales Force for the AR module and we are considering an integration for the AP module.
  • Intacct is one of the easier ERP systems I have worked with.
  • The reporting module is user friendly.
  • General Ledger provides ample amounts of details.
  • Smart Rules/Smart Event need to be more intuitive for writing.
  • There should not be a third party for integration between two other parties. Such as Concur and Intacct.
  • Payroll and HR module needs improvement.
  • Ease of reporting.
  • Ease of bill pay.
  • Ease of reviewing the P&L.
I have worked in both Sage 300 and Quickbooks. I feel Intacct is better than both with regards to the reporting. I am able to pull reports and review with much more easy than I have been in the past with the other two systems. Sage 300 especially was difficult to create reports within the Intelligence reporting unit. It would take at least a day to create a report whereas I can create a report within Intacct in 10 minutes.
Sage Intacct is well suited for our company as it is cloud based. We are a tech company with users that travel often. It is beneficial to have access to the details of financials or our accounting system from anywhere
I believe it is less appropriate for us in that is has many modules we do not use. PO's Inventory, etc.
