Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Sage Intacct is a great accounting system for our company because we are steadily growing each year and it allows us to keep up with continuous growth. We have been able to streamline several processes, like financial reporting and accounts payable. It is a great product and I highly recommend if you are a multi-entity company. Also, there are always helpful features coming out such as the "collaboration center" which helps streamline communication.
- Accounts payable is a great feature that allows us to be able to process thousands of invoices very quickly each week, and AMEX check delivery has also been a great add on feature that integrates seamlessly with Intacct
- The custom reporter has helped us be able to run reports redundant reports that have saved us a tremendous amount of time
- The dashboards tool is helpful to be able to customize different job titles to relevant info
- Intacct could definitely use some improvement in budgeting. Currently, my company uses an Excel-based budgeting software that is time-consuming to upload actual numbers into, and the software and may not be 100% accurate. It would be great to be able to seamlessly view and update a budget in Intacct without exporting data into other software.
- The bank reconciliation process is very time consuming and there could be some improvement in simplifying this.
- Vendor management. Right now there has not been a way to merge a duplicate vendor that has been created.
- Intacct has had a positive effect on our ROI because we have been able to stay more organized and have been able to streamline several processes.
We have not currently purchased any automated AP or AR add on features, but it's something we are definitely looking to do in the future.
Being able to work on a multi-entity platform has been a huge benefit for our company as it gives us the ability to save so much time by being able to switch back and forth between several different entities throughout the day.
Our company has only had experience with QuickBooks and by the end of our time with that software, we just came to the conclusion that we had outgrown it. QuickBooks is difficult to use when dealing with multiple entities.
