Very User Friendly
Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Intacct is used across all departments for all accounting needs. Invoice approval and financial reporting are more streamlined with Intacct.
Pros
- AP bill payments. It is very user-friendly and has great filters to find what you are looking for.
- Detailed reports. Whether you're needing the GL details or the financial statements, the ability to drill down into any account/transaction saves time and is much easier
- Fixed assets. The module automates monthly depreciation with a few clicks. This reduces errors and saves time when there are hundreds of assets
Cons
- Prepaid schedules. Intacct does not support multi-currency.
- Corporate card payment method. It can only be paid with this at the entity level, instead of being able to pay with this method at the top level
- Not able to pay bills in multi-currency.
- Streamlined the transition to implement revenue recognition 606
- Allows for consolidating departments, which makes reporting/budgeting easier.
- Online document storage has freed up our server space and makes locating documents for auditors much easier
We have benefited because we have multiple entities, so the automation that Intacct has allows us to have clean reports at both the entity levels and the top level
I use the time and expense module. This has made approval and tracking of employee expenses very clean, allowing for a quick turnaround.
