Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Sage Intacct is used across our company. The primary users are the Finance & Accounting department, however, the production departments use it to input POs and Purchase Requisitions. The production departments do have access to Reports Centre and a few other functionalities and modules of Sage Intacct, but they typically do not use them. The Finance & Accounting departments take advantage of the AP, AR, Purchasing, GL, Cash managements, Reports Centre and Fixed Asset modules and we use them for our day-to-day accounting processes. Sage Intacct allows all users within Finance to access relevant for them information in real time and facilitates review of entries, too.
- Allows restricting user access so that employees only access information relevant to them and allows for internal controls to be maintained.
- User-friendly interface.
- Resourceful help centre and assistance with technical issues.
- The "Memorized reports" function seems a bit cumbersome to use. I tried setting up a couple of different reports but the functionality is not as user-friendly as I expected.
- The CSV exported reports could be structured a bit better. At present, they require quite a bit of Excel manipulation and re-formatting before they are in an easily searchable and sortable format.
- Easier monthly reporting and consolidation - although both are still in-progress for our company as these functionalities are still being rolled-out/tested.
Yes, we have benefited through easily-accessible, real-time data.
We are currently setting up the consolidation module and we are looking forward to achieving time efficiencies with consolidation at quarter-end and year-end.
