Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
We have been using Intacct for all our family companies. It makes booking journal entries across the board much easier and we can work from anywhere as long as we have a laptop and internet since it is web-based. It is very simple and easy to use, the interface is straight forward.

- The new bank reconciliation is ridiculously complicated. It seems like its been designed by a software engineer not an actual user. Too many options to choose and so many buttons to push. We all prefer the current one.
- Since we manage multiple entities the intercompany tranction function is really helpful, it makes everything easier.
Order management helps us record and track purchase orders without it showing up on GL. It is easily converted to a sales invoice and you can see the audit trail of the whole process. Attachments are there for you to lookup. You can also customerize the format and layout of your sales order and sales invoice to make it suit your company's specific needs.
We use the multi-entity function and it is a life saver. We used to used Great Plains and later Quickbooks, but each program requires us to switch between entities if we need to record JEs or do anything. Now we can book inter-company journal entries all at one place. It saves so much time.

everything is online so as long as we have a laptop and internet we can work from anywhere. with the integration with other apps such as expensify for expense reimbursements, and Yooz and Bill.com to help us with AP and AR, we can make payments and receive payments as well as manage bill/invoices online.
