Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
It's used by my department but each department is dependent on Sage Intacct, as we manage the invoicing/billing of clients and individuals as well as analyze trust retainers and their spending.
We also use Sage Intacct to keep track of our own firm's bills.
We also use Sage Intacct to keep track of our own firm's bills.
- Report creation - we run multiple reports through Sage Intacct for our clients, [and] for our own C-suite reporting.
- We cut checks for legal filings using Sage Intacct every day in bulk. The ability to print in bulk is unique and essential to our business type.
- Sage Intacct's cloud ability to maintain and clean large data points is extraordinary.
- Ability to use hotkeys on invoices to quickly manipulate line items. For example, if my invoice has 100 line items and I need to manipulate the "client " field for all line items, I'd like to do that in one or two clicks, not 100-200.
- Ability to create more functionality through API that isn't currently [avail]able. For example, we'd like to see individually what we're printing when we're doing bulk prints.
- Ability to create new windows easily.
- We've only had positive impacts. Sage Intacct has made our firm much more organized as a finance department: better firm-wide reporting, client reporting, accounts receivable tracking, accounts payable tracking, and check request creation/printing.
Yes, we've benefitted from all four [core financial processes].
General Ledger - We have trust retainers with many large clients and use this function to analyze what's incoming and outgoing from these trusts every month.
Accounts Payable - We manage all invoices against our firm from this function. We get invoices from multiple vendors, including global ones.
Accounts Receivable - Our bread and butter in securing the financials of our company. We use this function every day by invoicing individuals and large clients monthly.
Order Management - Helps manage billing for our legal services.

[Our organization] has not [used any of the advanced modules].
A vendor (Cordia Partners) helped us configure [Sage Intacct] which required a few months in processing. Once configured, setting up user permissions, views, templates, etc. took some time to get used to but were ultimately helpful and worth the time spent.
Do you think Sage Intacct delivers good value for the price?
Not sure
Are you happy with Sage Intacct's feature set?
Yes
Did Sage Intacct live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Sage Intacct go as expected?
Yes
Would you buy Sage Intacct again?
Yes
Bill.com - The feature to have PDF copies is ultimately its best feature. Additionally, Bill.com's send-and-receive invoice feature is stronger than Sage Intacct's.
Above all else, Sage Intacct remains to be the most organized and versatile platform.
SimpleLegal (without trying their new premium feature) did not have enough customization, and Coupa [is] far too dated.
