Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

It helps to organize the work and to keep track of the invoices posted and the bank transaction. It [also] helps to keep track of the bank items (which are paid and the others which are not). It keeps track and communicates with the inventory as it shows you which items has been in there and which is not very easy in the GL reconciliation.
  • Posting invoices and documenting it in the right folders.
  • Storing all the GL recs even from years ago.
  • So easy to use the cash management application and also the bank recs.
  • Easy to surf. Lots of training sessions are not needed.
  • It needs to be have more a visual than the basic look to keep people focused.
  • Sometimes it logs off even while working, so it needs to be accurate if you are away or not.
  • The reports should be more organized because when you extract one you need to work on it.
  • It really helped to maintain the profit by doing the reports.
  • It helped by saving time which gave the employees more time to be innovative.
  • Saving time for people and working smart with it helped to maintain the image of the company which led to more shareholders.
In the accounts payable department it helped to keep track of all invoices and maintain all the data needed when recorded [the] appropriate way. And it helps in the GL and expense tracking and recording [is] much better way than other ERP systems. For the bank recs, it helped to know which transactions are matched and which is still needs to be paid.
I would give it [an] 8. I think it's for average users and not all accountants can work with it, but still easy for most of the accountants I worked with. It helped in integrat[ing] new companies that the company acquired which maintains the same codes and ethics for all the companies that we acquire across the business.

Do you think Sage Intacct delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Sage Intacct's feature set?

Yes

Did Sage Intacct live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Sage Intacct go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Sage Intacct again?

Yes

Actually, Sage is better than SAP in my opinion as it is easier to use and easier to have reports and products.
It saves time for employees and [the] company [as] it doesn't need a lot of training time [like] SAP because it has a lot of codes and a way basic style, so not anyone can work with it.
I believe it just needs a bit more improvement on the applications, especially the reports, but it really helps when running an aging report. It just needs to be more organized and for the balance sheet report it is really very good that you can spot the error in which GL and fix it immediately.
