Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We use it for time and expense reporting and higher-level headcount budget/revenue analysis. This product addresses a few of the issues that our business has; however, we still have more work to connect with APIs in order to build out more functionality to interact with Sage from other internal web pages.
  • Ease of data entry
  • Easy to use both the expense and time apps
  • Time entry is quick and easy
  • Expense reporting/dashboarding isn't intuitive to set up.
  • Missing dashboards on your opening pages that would show where action is needed.
  • Dropdowns can't be sorted other than alphabetical.
  • Not sure yet, we haven't been able to quantify.
  • Not able to create the reports needed.
We do not use these processes or tools.
We have switched to the time and expense management apps at our company this year. We have so far liked the transition as it has been easier to maintain from an admin perspective; however, I think it lacks some potential for dashboard features. Still working on setting up APIs to connect with SharePoint, but would like this to be easier with Connections that are already created there.
N/A for me, I am not the one that is maintaining. I do know from being on the information technology committee though that the transition has been an easier one, and that the admin that is in charge of configurations has liked using the product. I don't have any experience with it though myself.

Do you think Sage Intacct delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Sage Intacct's feature set?

No

Did Sage Intacct live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Sage Intacct go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Sage Intacct again?

No

For time management and expense, I would likely prefer to build an internal app instead. This is an easy process without a lot of [variabilities], so I am not really sure why we bought it in the first place. If I was at the company earlier and had more time on my hands/[fewer] projects, I would probably build an internal app to do the same thing and have more functionality with our tools.
Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), Microsoft Teams, PowerApps
I think Sage has been well suited for our time and expense needs as a company. I also feel like it is missing some functionality for dashboarding and reporting to high-level teams. The APIs are available but [are] something that we need to take more time to set up as a company. I like the documentation though around the APIs that are available, and am excited to dig in.
