Sage Intacct is an ERP game changer!
Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Sage is our company ERP. We use the core functionality, as well as the advanced revenue recognition features. Sage solves for our ASC 606 needs by streamlining the revenue recognition and billing processes, making month-end close and reporting seamless.
Pros
- Advanced revenue recognition through revenue recognition templates.
- Dimensional reporting.
- Dashboarding & KPI scorecards.
Cons
- The prepaids module is clunky and burdensome to work in.
- The fixed assets module is clunky and burdensome to work in.
- I would like to see the ability to create financial reports to be more dynamic and user friendly.
- Sage has overhauled how our FP&A manages departmental spend by utilizing the department dimension for P&L activity.
Absolutely. Our Accounting team is small (4), and we run the entire accounting function without ever feeling thinly spread based on the automated functionality Intacct brings to both our day to day accounting operations as well as our month end close and year end close procedures.
The contract revenue management module is a complete game changer, and we would not be able to function without it. It's taken a revenue and billing process that would/could normally take weeks to manage to a matter of days if not hours, but the push of a couple buttons.
