Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Sage Intacct is used as our Main ERP.
We use it for all of accounting needs, from Accruals, AP, AR, reporting and reconciliations.

- easy to correct mistakes
- easy to drill down on items
- very open platform allows connection to other interfaces
- no live customer support for every day questions like how to reverse a recurring entry
- Have to always work with a outside professional consultant - $ price tag attached
- Time savings for recurring entries
- Faster analysis for P&L with drill down capabilities
- Detailed reporting
- Time saving in AP invoice processing
- Visibility and transparency
We had to purchase an AP automation [bill.com] as a separate add on. We had to purchase a separate Purchasing module [Acxess] to support our purchasing [PO generation] and tracking These were additional costs and not included with Sage Intacct. Sage Intacct was a very open platform, and we will be connecting our AP automation and Purchasing software to Intacct in the next few months and will have a full cycle AP/Purchasing Automation system which will allow us transparency, insight and time savings all the way around.
We have not used any of these.
But as we get more settled in, we might consider other forms of process improvements and perhaps use some of these modules to help us further achieve automation and time savings. Time savings is super important to entities with smaller accounting teams which have one AP clerk and over 600-800 invoices to process on a monthly basis.
