Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We use Sage Intacct for our Accounting and Finance needs. We have a complex business setup in that we are a nonprofit with several for-profit entities. The nonprofit operates as an economic development entity, so we deal with many grants (Federal, State, and Local). Our for-profit entities have several business formations, which we use to operate the venture capital side of the business. Sage Intacct allows us the flexibility of multiple entities that consolidate into one parent entity.

My organization has benefited from AP automation. We have automated some revenue recognition but have yet to benefit from the full suite of automation that the software is capable of. Our business structure is unique, and as such, we are not able to realize and benefit from all the functionality the software has.
Sage Intacct provides a core set of financial capabilities that can be extended with more advanced modules like multi-entity & global consolidations, project accounting, time and expense management, contract revenue management and spend management. If you have used any of these or other additional modules, please describe in detail how their availability has impacted your organization. We have not used any of these capabilities
We were able to configure the system to our liking. We used a consultant for the implementation. Sage Intacct was very helpful throughout the whole process. The consulting team was also very helpful in the whole process. They handled all the project management, allowing our project champion to be very hands-on during the whole process.

All the solutions provided a cloud-based platform; they were all very different and unique. Sage Intacct appealed to the selection team because of the use of dimensions. For our economic development work, we track a lot of grants and have to be very detailed in monitoring how it's spent. Intacct provides us with multiple dimensions to track the information we need.
The software is user-friendly and easy to navigate and learn. As with any software, you maximize its potential with the proper setup and implementation. For our organization and our needs, the software more than meets and exceeds our expectations. Intacct always comes out with new functionality and features to upgrade the software. And also has a great conference to rollout these updates.
