Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We use Sage Intacct for our bookkeeping for multiple entities within our organization. The main reason we decided to use this software was because it allows us to keep the books separate for all of these entities, while also allowing us to "roll them up" into one for reporting purposes. The customization for reporting on different entities is very useful and saves a lot of time/manual work. We also really liked the dimensions they offer that also make reporting and tracking much easier.
  • Customized Reporting
  • Multi-entity Management
  • Dimensions
  • There are small things that could be improved in order to reduce the amount of clicks (such as copying dimensions from one line to another)
  • The UI is not as user friendly as some of the other solutions out there
  • The pricing is definitely a lot higher than you're going to be paying for most similar solutions
  • Definite time/costs saved due to less time spent on customized reporting
Due to our nature (medical business) we have not implemented automated processes. For AP, many payments received are batched and need to be separated. For AR, we do not receive payments via Sage. We also do not utilize Order Management,
The multi-entity consolidation is one of the main selling points that led us to choose Sage Intacct. It is something that still brings a lot of value to this day.
The vendor provided assistance in setting up our configuration and also provided training to the users.

Do you think Sage Intacct delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Sage Intacct's feature set?

Yes

Did Sage Intacct live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Sage Intacct go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Sage Intacct again?

Yes

If you are wanting to manage all entities within one program (while keeping the books separate) and have the ability to report on different combinations of those entities then this is definitely for you. If you require in-depth reporting for different types of classes, departments, items, etc. then this is also going to be much better at tracking those things than a lot of the other solutions out there. If you have relatively simple books and just need straightforward tracking or reporting then I would not recommend this solution.
