Overall Satisfaction with SalesLoft

We currently use SalesLoft for our sales engagement and outreach efforts. Previously, we did not have a system dedicated solely to creating, managing, and tracking cadences for outreach; SalesLoft has filled that void and empowered our sales team to be much more efficient and effective with their time and outreach.
  • Cadence creation - very intuitive and easy to follow.
  • Email templating - has the ability to add videos, links, smart fields, etc. to templates.
  • Easy to navigate Salesforce plug-in.
  • Innovation in adding special polls, surveys, interactive elements to email outreach.
  • No internal messaging system w/in the toolset.
  • Can be difficult to understand how to set up smart logic campaigns (ex: automating movement between cadences based on prospect answers).
  • Improved sales rep productivity in cold outreach.
  • Better insight into best practices and strategies for outreach.
When we initially onboarded, the SalesLoft implementation team made themselves very available and ended up running a training for our full sales team. For ongoing support, I have only personally reached out once and received support.
I'm viewing this question in two ways: first, "integration" referring to the ability for our team to start using the toolset and integrate it into their working process; second, in the "integration" with our CRM Salesforce... so I'll answer both parts.
  • First - as far as the implementation and integration into our working process, I felt it was similar to the adoption process for most new softwares. As always, there were hiccoughs in the beginning and a few reps who held on tight to their former cadence process - however, ultimately it proved itself to be a valuable tool and is now a fully integrated part of our process.
  • Second - for the Salesforce integration - it's decent and pretty user friendly. Easy to add new contacts from Salesforce to SalesLoft, and the SalesLoft plug-in is extremely easy to use. One of the challenges we've encountered is with updates to contact information on either platform - it does not sync every time and creates discrepancies between the two systems.
SalesLoft is well suited for sales teams who do a lot of daily cold outreach and need a toolset to keep track of a structured system for outreach. Perfect for SDRs/BDRs and for AEs who do a lot of self-sourcing. May not be as well suited for outreach beyond cold/initial calls and emails - once a prospect has been qualified and is in an evaluation, the rep will manage their own outreach strategy outside of SalesLoft.
