Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)
ScreenConnect allows me to manage customer PC's and servers from the comfort of my own desk. I like the toolbox feature to quickly download the tools I need for the job on my clients' computer.
Pros
- Easy to use: when instructing over the phone to a customer. But also for technicians.
- Stability: I've never had a crash or other weird thing happen with ScreenConnect.
- Powerful: It has some features that I couldn't live without, like the toolbox.
Cons
- Adding more servers for EU customers. Currently, my business is in the Netherlands. I experience a bit of latency sometimes.
- No more having to drive to a customer to solve a small problem
- Easy to perform scheduled maintenance from remote
- TeamViewer was hacked recently and I don't like the way they handled it.
- Bomgar was way too expensive.
