Overall Satisfaction with Sigma Computing

Key sales KPIs, stack-ranking sales people on activity and conversion. We also use it for executive reporting, distilling the health of the sales engine into digestible visuals, graphs, and charts.

I also use it to dissect specific problems. For example if we are seeing an issue during a specific point in the sales funnel, I’ll use sigma to dissect the problem and reach a solution.
  • Easily pull in tables
  • Integration w Snowflake
  • Tabs are very helpful for executive reporting
  • Visualizations are not very intuitive
  • The views are not as friendly as Tableau for less experienced data users
  • Pulling in graphs - not easily editable
  • Improved self service for biz users
  • Made culture more data-based
  • Improved sales performance

Do you think Sigma Computing delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Sigma Computing's feature set?

Yes

Did Sigma Computing live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Sigma Computing go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Sigma Computing again?

Yes

Anyone with SQL skill set has very easily adopted sigma and saved time for the data team. It has allowed biz users a new degree of independence and speed for answering their own questions. And initiated a culture where finding your own answers is expected and importantly cheered on, which is great
I pull data from sigma into gSheets still. Sigma is helpful for structuring the data into a table and making it easily accessible. However, I’m not quick enough in sigma to do the actual analysis and look for correlations all the time so i still will do a lot of the analysis in gSheets
Less visually appealing. Feels like fewer pixels. Harder to make graphs and visuals. Really good integration with Snowflake and intuitive usage for custom equations and filters.
We use Sigma for plenty of use cases. It’s great for exec reporting and providing high level views of performance, down to individual performance. It’s not great at quickly doing analysis to dissect a specific problem - I’ll still pull data into gSheets to run a quick analysis for the exec team.
