It is being used to review reported bugs from users or our team, gather requirements or user data, and review technical concerns related to our e-commerce site. It's helpful for determining user patterns across various features.
  • Record user sessions.
  • Identify rage clicks.
  • Select different pages or URLs you want to review activity from.
  • Setting up flags that you're looking to track and saving those events for later review.
  • Easier navigation to share video clips with colleagues.
  • Definitely greater visibility to our users and various user personas and how they use our site.
  • Identifying rage clicks and bugs.
  • Identify browser issues.
I've never tried to contact support.
I think the navigation could be more straightforward.
At my old company, we debated using FullStory, but I believe Smartlook was the better option financially.

Smartlook is great for capturing SaaS data or e-commerce data alike. I've found the most success using Smartlook to review possible technical issues or bugs that appear on our site, as well as review user frustrations and "bounce"-type events that occur from users. It's helpful to better understand and watch first-hand how users interact with our site and gather research and requirements for features that we are thinking about implementing.
