Overall Satisfaction with Square for Retail

We use Square for Retail as our main POS system for in-person payments, as well as our scheduling and payment collection system for appointments that are booked and delivered online. As a company providing life coaching and hypnotherapy services, it is key that we are able to manage appointments and charge for services online, as well as in person. It is great that Square allows us to do both in one system while adding calendar management too.

Square for retail is a great tool for small businesses that need to consolidate POS and online transactions, particularly if the services provided require setting an appointment, Square offers a single place where services can be managed, charged for (in person or online) and customers can make appointments to receive such services. As a facility that offers individual appointments with customers, it is very important that appointment management and billing are done in the same system. Square might not be well-suited for larger business or for companies that already have a POS system for in-person billing (unless they are willing to migrate to Square).
