Overall Satisfaction with SuccessFactors Employee Central
Human Resources uses it as our central HRIS system. Employees and managers use it to access basic information and maintain their own data. We are currently implementing the learning system as well. It functions as the central hub of our employee data, tracking and reporting. This system coordinates with and sends data to other systems.
Pros
- Maintains our employee essential data and is accessible to everyone. Employees are able to update parts of their own data.
- Tracks performance and merit information as well as allows for 'badging' between coworkers.
- Integrates well with other systems so it can be the basis of employee data in for other software we use.
Cons
- Not able to manage a fluid bonus structure from within the system, whereby you can gather approvals, etc.
- I feel it's certainly had a positive ROI. No need for multiple systems with multiple duplicate data input.
- Streamlines and tracks the entire employment journey from hiring, data maintenance, performance tracking, job transitions, pay, etc.
This is the most cohesive system I've ever used and its ability to function well with various other software is unmatched.
