Overall Satisfaction with The Raisers Edge
Raiser's Edge is used to track every donor, transaction and gift processed by our organization. We have gifts coming in from so many different locations, via online, via third party and direct deposits. We need Raiser's Edge to keep track of everything. It is great with our monthly recurring donors, processing their gifts and keeping us updated on the credit card expiring dates. We use Raiser's Edge for all our end of year tax receipting and direct mail segmentation needs.
- Recurring monthly payment processing and tracking.
- Tracking of different gift type sources, payment type sources and different campaigns.
- Great dashboard for reports and action reminders.
- Ability to create your own crystal report as required with the information you need.
- Need to understand Raiser's Edge and have training in order to be able to use it.
- Have to really understand queries and get the query right or you get the wrong information.
- Each module is separate and costs extra - events, tribute, etc.
- It is our bible and the way we reconcile with our bank and how our yearly audit runs smoothly.
- Raiser's Edge improves all communications with donors and donor retention.
- Raiser's Edge is expensive but the time invested in it is worth it, the more you put in, the more you get out.
The Cornerstone product could not even compare to The Raiser's Edge. Even though this was a custom made product, it was very rigid, reports were only as they had been created and no where near the same type of product. To be fair, the Cornerstone product I used was created 10 years ago so it may have changed since then.
