Overall Satisfaction with Cision Communications Cloud
We use Cision Communication Cloud (Trendkite) for two main objectives: real-time tracking of media insertions that our team gets placed for clients, and research for current clients and new business presentations. The research primarily revolves around share of media voice and competitive media coverage. Cision's tracking is comprehensive and the service has been very responsive, especially while setting up the boolean filters. We like the dashboard for client presentations. Clients have said they are able to share Cision graphs with their senior leadership teams without needing to adapt them.
- Cision's near real-time reporting helps us stay current with client media coverage in a way that other services can't deliver. Other services offer more of a historical perspective while we can be confident that Cision is delivering the latest coverage.
- We are able to tweak our results with the boolean searches to ensure we're getting the most strategic comparisons for both client coverage and competitive research. We believe we get better coverage from Cision over other services.
- The UX is the best we've seen and our clients love it.
- While the boolean searches help us get refined results, it can be very time consuming to set up properly. We're happy with the help Cision provides to refine our searches, but the team sometimes complains about how laborious the task can be and how long it take.
- I wish you tracked social media coverage, which would help us get a 360 degree view of our client's coverage. So many articles are shared through social media that it's important for us to track those extra impressions.
We also use Cision (before they added Trendkite) and Meltwater. We see each service providing slightly different things. Meltwater just introduced a much better social media coverage capability which we need. Cision gives us the confidence in media databases for list building and identifying digital influencers. It would be nice if we didn't have to buy all 3 services, but at this time we need them all.*
