Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

TriNet is used for benefits administration, payroll, workers comp, and overall HR strategy.
  • Payroll -- ease of use
  • Benefits -- robust choices
  • Compliance -- always ahead of the curve to stay compliant with HR laws
  • UX/UI could use an update (Most of my team has made this comment to me)
  • Allow contractors to have some light functionality (compliance videos)
  • More HR related training opportunities for appropriate people in HR departments
Both our Human Capital Partner and Client Success Partner are very quick to respond to emails, and resolve any issues quickly and smoothly. It's helpful having them part of the "team" for any HR related matters that need to be addressed.
I think its pretty straightforward (they recently updated their "Passport" portal) and its much more user-friendly.
  • Benefit offering has improved significantly
  • HR Compliance has improved -- we are notified well in advance of any new laws that we need to be aware of and make changes for
  • Payroll reporting is much improved
TotalHR -- TriNet had a much better benefits offering and was more appropriate for us given the size we had become.
TriNet is great when you want a more robust benefits offering for employees, as well as assistance around HR compliance. Not sure at what point it becomes less appropriate, but I think at a certain size, you may need an internal department to manage all these functions.
