Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

We are a small company, so TriNet is being used by only 2 people: 1 from HR and 1 from Finance. We currently use it for payroll, benefits, and government compliance. For a small company that has a small team of HR and Finance, we are able to outsource the tasks that would enable our company to provide benefits to our full-time employees. In addition, TriNet is a well-known company with years of experience, so we know our data is in good hands.

Pros

  • Help HR and Finance teams at small companies operate more efficiently.
  • Able to compete with bigger companies in term of offerings of benefits to employees.
  • Wonderful customer service experience.

Cons

  • Recently switched from person point-of-contact to chat with a random representative. For a small company like us, we appreciate having a go-to person.
They have all been very helpful, and always answered my questions in a timely fashion.
It can be hard to navigate the site, but it is still easy to use.
  • Help HR team become more efficient.
  • Help the company comply with regulations.
We were able to use the Trinet reporting function to complete the calculation piece of our PPP loan application.

Companies with small HR team should definitely get TriNet to support their operations, and enable the company to be competitive in offering benefits to potential hires.

With support option moving from one representative at TriNet to having chats with random strangers, sometimes it feels like we're shouting our pressing matters into the void.
