Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Vendors

  • TrustQuotes Library
  • TrustQuotes for Web
  • TrustProfile (Premium Profile)
Business buyers today look to objective resources online such as TrustRadius to do their vendor research. It's critical to make sure you have a presence on TrustRadius if you want your prospective customers to see what others think of you. In our case, we have a great relationship with our customers and we are very proud to have our customers rate us a a leader in the CPM space. TrustRadius helps build credibility and increase awareness - two components of any successful marketing strategy.
  • Completeness of the vendor profile
  • Fine-tuned quote selection and targeting for TrustQuotes
  • I like how TrustRadius does not blur the lines by being a direct lead generation business. That can create the perception of a conflict of interest and TrustRadius is very clear about its role as an objective provider of customer opinions.
  • There are too many steps needed to publish TrustQuotes. It is the cost of the fine-tuned control, but I believe TrustRadius could make a few minor usability changes, which would keep the control options but make it quicker to get new quotes published.
  • Increase brand awareness
  • Manage brand reputation
  • Scale customer proof through reviews
  • Third-party validation of marketing claims
  • Identify candidates for case studies & advocacy
  • Reduce or supplement reference requests
  • Improve sales efficiency
  • Identify & address customer issues
TrustRadius has helped our sales cycle by increasing our credibility. Adaptive Insights is the easiest to use software for planning, modeling and reporting for finance teams. We can make that claim, but it is much more credible when our SDR and sales teams can send prospective clients to check out our reviews on the TrustRadius website.
We maintain profiles on all major review sites including TrustRadius, G2Crowd, Gartner Peer Reviews and others. The value proposition of TrustRadius is to focus purely on the collection and display of objective reviews from software customers. Most other vendors also include some sort of paid lead generation offering. While that may be attractive to a marketer, that can create conflicts of interest for a review site which may make decisions that get in the way of delivering the most objective reviews to the website visitor.
The review content ranges from the very simple, to very very thorough and detailed responses. The custom questions we use allow us to highlight specific points of differentiation of our product and service, which helps prospective customers better understand the market and the factors they should think about in their decision process.
We don't just measure leads. We measure qualified opportunities as well as customer wins. TrustRadius helps us build value at all steps of the funnel. We also can see which leads we get on our website came to us via our profile page on TrustRadius. We don't just want volume, we want quality. Working with a credible partner such as TrustRadius helps us focus on delivering high-quality leads.
I can't think of a B2B software scenario where TrustRadius doesn't make sense for a company. It never hurts to understand what real customers think of the software that they use. While some may be able to offer more information than others, it always reduces your decision risk to have that additional information.
