Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro

We utlize UKG for all our HRIS needs: HR Core, Payroll, Recruting, Onboarding, Employee File Management, Employee Case Management, Time Off Management, Open Enrollment, Performance Management etc. We're using it across the whole organization. UKG provides exceptional customer service through implementation to go-live, to ongoing maintainance. Our previous HRIS company was extremely hard to work with.

  • Leadership's confidence instilled in HR systems after a previous horrible experience with another HRIS system
Why we chose UKG over other HRIS systems:

The system is quick to load pages and reports generate extremely quickly. Sometimes Payroll Gateway is a little slow, but not slow enough to make a negative impact, especially considering the complexity of payroll. Overall the system is fantastic.

Rapid Response sometimes takes 45+ minutes just to get a hold of a person (if you don't get hung up on)
Payment Services support is great...when you get a response. The turnaround time for help is awful.

Overall I still give a 7 because our Account Manager makes up for all the other bad service.

Our Account Manager, Elissa Wenholz, continuously provides exceptional customer service. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure we are set up for success. She's worked late multiple times to help us with payroll issues. She knows UKG inside and out - I don't know how she remembers everything. She is invested in our success and you can feel it. She is extremely personable and our team actually looks forward to our calls with her. She is simply outstanding, she's made our learning curve (learning UKG) manageable...we wouldn't be where we are without her. UKG is extremely lucky to have her!
UKG Pro is well suited for any company with a need for HRIS systems. UKG Pro is not well suited for small companies, as you have to pay for 200 employees (minimum). We don't have 200 employees yet, but considering how huge our company is and the opportunity for growth, we figured it would be a good investment. Charging for a minimum of 200 employees, then an additional $4 for each HR Only User (when you haven't reached the 200 max) is unusual. (I realize it's only $4 but it's the principle)
