UKG Has Lots of Features, but that means there's lots to learn

UKG is very complicated and not always intuitive. However, the support options are excellent. There is very good online documentation available, a community message board that is a valuable resource and it is easy to submit support cases to receive one-on-one assistance. Even once you're familiar with how to accomplish tasks, it's difficult to set up shortcuts or memorize pathways for doing things. Although the system reports are comprehensive, they can be difficult to customize.

In my opinion, our integration and implementation was a huge headache. UKG is such a large company that we were constantly dealing with new people and having to start over with problems each time a new team became involved. We have been trying since July to get some simple feeds to vendors set up and it has proved a major challenge and very frustrating. It has been very hard to find someone to take responsibility for supervising this task and they are constantly passing our project to different people.

I would think that it is probably too much system for a small, straightforward company set up. As a complicated company with locations in a number of states and many different employee situations, it is flexible enough for our needs.
