Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro

UltiPro is our system of record for employee information and processes payroll for the organization.
  • UltiPro core is very flexible in tracking and report on employee data. You can customize the security to allow employees and managers to see just the information you feel is required.
  • UltiPro payroll makes it extremely easy to insure that all employee are paid properly and that the employees can see the details of how their paycheck was calculated.
  • The Ultimate Software compliance staff make it very easy to keep on top of the ever changing tax requirements.
  • The compensation planning module within UltiPro is very inflexible.
  • It is very cumbersome to make changes to a record for those inevitable times when either an error was made or additional information has been provided after a transaction was entered.
  • The ability to enter transactions prior to their effective date needs work.

We have achieved all of these outcomes to varying degrees.
For midsize companies similar to ours UltiPro is a more economical and streamlined system that provides for most if not all of our HRIS needs. The complexity of these other systems make them much harder to maintain and manage for a midsize organization.
The core functionality of UltiPro is very straightforward to setup making it a great choice for an organization that does not have a lot of IT support.
