Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro
We currently use UltiPro for HRIS, Recruiting and Payroll; our employees use it daily as well for payroll, updating personal information etc. I'm not able to answer what business problems it addresses as my part in HR doesn't come across any.
They have great training for those in a Human Resources Role. Recently implemented Recruiting and our hiring managers like it much better than our previous system.

Pros
- Great reporting functions, ability to build reports based on what information you need.
- Very user-friendly for our employees updating personal information, printing pay stubs or tax forms.
- Great Customer Success Portal, it's easy to open up a case and have an UltiPro rep call you almost immediately.
Cons
- Although great in most areas there is certainly room for improvement. We are now in month 13 of trying to get our EDI feed set up properly, many test scenarios were done prior to going live and yet we still encountered issues. You would imagine our frustration of trying to get this corrected.
- They offer many webinars however it's not the same thing as being in front of a live presenter, I wish they would offer move live training. Some of us are close to their Orange County location and wouldn't mind making a small drive over there.
- I understand they are in the business of making a profit however we the customer shouldn't be charged for items that relate to "testing", this should be part of the full package.
I have used PeopleSoft for most of my HR career and was very happy with the ability to customize it to fit our needs. I'm not aware of being able to do the same with UltiPro. I have also used Taleo for recruiting and loved the fact that Taleo would feed onboarding to PeopleSoft, it was easy to manage and make corrections.
