Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365
We back up our Exchange Online as well as our SharePoint sites from Office 365 with Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365.
- Restoration of E-mail is quite simple.
- Backing up SharePoint Data is very easy.
- Gives us peace of mind that our cloud data is safe.
- A more detailed guide that is simple to follow for implementation would be nice.
- Some of the errors we see in backups are not the most helpful or easy to understand.
- It's helped us achieve our goal of keeping our data safe in the cloud.
- Having gone through a ransomware event, having Veeam has saved us millions.
As an IT professional with over 25 years of experience, I know solid backup is essential. When we moved to Microsoft 365, we were already moving to Veeam Backup and Enterprise locally and were happy with it. So it made sense to use Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365.
I have had to restore a user mailbox for someone that has deleted their whole mailbox before. It was much faster than having the user pull the data back from their Archive (provided by a 3rd party).
I have only restored to the original location with this product at this point.
The granular level of restore down to a single E-mail. Easy to set up with daily job results to help us keep track of the quality of our backups.
