Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365
In the sales dept., e-mail is main way we communicate with our customers. Sometimes we have to go back years for various reasons. So we need to make sure all of our e-mail is available.
Pros
- It is easy to use
- We fill it is safe
- It runs everyday without issues
Cons
- The initial setup was easy, but the AWS S3 immutable was not documented well
- I feel comfortable the companies e-mail is safe
- We haven't had to do a restore yet so no ROI calculations so far
Microsoft's O365 licensing makes it clear that our e-mail backup is up to us. Our team members look back at old e-mails all the time so any data loss could cause us to lose business. We needed a solution that was easy to implement.
We have not had to do a restore so far.
I am aware of the restore options, but we have not had to restore anything so far.
I like the individual e-mail account backup and the ability to save to various cloud vendors like AWS.
This is our first e-mail backup we put in place. We have used other backup systems like MS DPM for data files
