Veeam Backup & Replication is the best tool on the Market.
Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication
We use Veeam Backup as a tool to back up all of our data locally and to an offsite location. Veeam is being used by the whole organization to backup our corporate servers. It addressed a lack of a backup strategy that we needed to be implemented and Veeam was the right solution for us.
Pros
- Backup jobs that intergartes well with our VMware environment
- Easy and quick restore process for OS files or VM files
- Reporting and alerts as its gives information that we used to troubleshoot issues
Cons
- A bug in the software that doens't delete restore points after certain amount of time
- Mobile Management for Veeam. It would be nice to manage Veeam on a phone to troubelshoot issues.
- We have had scenarios where we had VMs fail and we had to use Veeam to restore or use the instant VM recovery to restore access and reduce downtime.
We have not used this feature yet but we are planning on doing so later in the future.
We have not fully used those features as of yet but it's in the plan later on.
We have not tested or evaluated other software as we have experience with Veeam and it's the best soultion for us.

It was the reputation and words of mouth from previous coworkers that led me to choose Veeam.
Evaluate Veeam against other options on the market, but I would still have chosen Veeam.
Veeam Backup & Replication Implementation
