Overall Satisfaction with Vertex
Vertex O Series is being used by myself as an administrator and by our company's accounts receivable team to manage exemption certificates. It is implemented with SAP ERP system and our Hybris e-commerce website.
- Manages exemption certificates including images and different jurisdictions.
- Nexus is very easy to configure.
- User interface is easy to navigate.
- The reporting functionality is not very robust. I utilize Accelerator for most of my reporting needs.
- I would love if O Series had a document search functionality. My company previously utilized a different sales tax software and after a transaction was processed, you could go into the software front-end and search by billing document to see all the tax treatments and exemptions applied to that particular transaction.
- Our company has been able to greatly reduce our audit exposure with the ability to manage our exemption certificates so much more effectively and accurately.

Our company needed a tax software that would implement with SAP.

Vertex O Series is far more robust and easier to configure. The user interface is much better as well.
- We have been able to create reports around exemption certificates to determine what records we are missing or are inaccurate and subsequently update the company's records.
Honestly, I have not been super impressed with the support at Vertex.
