Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use the Cisco WebEx App in our organization for internal meetings, customer meetings, and messaging with team members. The app is very easy to use when scheduling and/or joining meetings, screen sharing during meetings as well as for troubleshooting with our customers working with field technicians. Having the encryption feature, which is a must, as we share files and do screen sharing with team members or with a customer during troubleshooting sessions. As a remote worker, it has made staying connected with my co-workers as well as customers so much easier especially during the pandemic.

Pros and Cons

The ease of Scheduling/Joining meetings with coworkers or customers regardless of whether in the office or travelling.
Sharing files and/or content securely internally with co-workers or externally with our customer.
Being able to connect from my desktop, laptop or mobile devices.

WebEx consumes a lot of CPU usage especially when sharing content and/or using virtual backgrounds.

Return on Investment

WebEx App has allowed me to easily connect with my co-workers and customers regardless of location.
Meetings/chats using WebEx App with field engineers and customers to troubleshoot and quickly resolve customer issues has been valuable especially during the pandemic.

Overall, the support for WebEx App has been good from the online information as well as Cisco TAC.

Usability

My overall experience with WebEx App has been good. It has allowed me to stay connected with my co-workers and customers using chat and meetings regardless of location. The integration to Outlook is a major plus for our team!

The WebEx App is an easy and effective tool for communicating and collaborating with internal co-workers as well as with our customers. The ability to record meetings/trainings allows all team members, regardless of time zone, to receive the exact same information. The integration with Outlook makes it easy to schedule meetings and to see my upcoming meetings. WebEx allows us to connect with people on various devices from wherever they are, office, home, or on the beach....
