Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings
We have a strict Vendor Access Policy in place which dictates any access by vendors is monitored by a member of the Network Services Team. Webex Meetings allows us to quickly set up a meeting and to grant access to a vendor, maintaining security and change management control. We also use Webex Meetings to conference and collaborate with our partners during the design and review of new software. We have also used it to allow remote users to access quarterly or other adhoc staff meetings, saving mileage and labor costs for the commute if they otherwise would have had to travel to the corporate office.
- Quick and easy to set up meetings on the fly, and most executives can be trained to do this on their own.
- Allows you to grant access to non-employees and monitor their actions while they are on your network, maintain security, and change control management.
- Great content delivery to both on and offsite employees.
- Occasionally, granting keyboard and mouse control does not work which requires reconnecting.
- We have experienced issues with billing, namely not receiving invoices. Not sure why it is so hard to change billing email address, or why once it has been changed, it mysteriously changes back?
- Allow remote users to join meetings in real time without expense of travel costs.
- Meetings are quick to set up without IT assistance.
- GoToMeeting and UserZoom
Webex Meetings is much less troublesome and problematic than either GoToMeeting or Zoom. When you purchase a product, you expect it to work as advertised when you need it. I cringe when an outside vendor asks me to join a GoToMeeting, as I know time will be lost when users have to reconnect in the hopes of resolving an observed issue.
