Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings

Intrado is a reseller of Cisco Webex Meetings and uses the platform as its primary collaboration tool for internal and external meetings. Webex Meetings provides an easy-to-use and reliable communication tool for our teams, many of which are geographically diverse or in work-from-home situations.

  • Simple and intuitive host/user interface.
  • Reliable and smooth performance.
  • Plethora of meeting options and complimentary tools.
  • Better support regarding the "new" Cisco Webex Control Hub administrator portal.
  • Constantly changing roadmap.
  • Keeping up with updates to the wide range of options available.
  • Provided a reliable communication platform for employees as "work from home" scenarios have become more prevalent.
  • Supports "hybrid" work environments for employees who are required to consistently move between at-home and in-office modes.

Overall, Webex Meetings provides excellent options for all online conferencing needs whether it be an ad-hoc or day-to-day meeting, or a more formal large-scale event. The "service types" (meetings, training, events, and support) provide good options for a variety of teams and the needs they may have based on their roles and functions. The intuitive structure of the platform allows for a consistent host and user experience regardless of the "service type" being used making for easier adoption.

Using Webex Meetings

Evaluating Webex Meetings and Competitors

Webex Meetings has been a longstanding, reliable collaboration tool. The user interface and features are intuitive and are consistent throughout the "service type" options available (meeting, training, events, etc.) making it easy to move from one version to the next. The numerous amount of features (schedule options, in-meeting, etc.) provide an experience that can to customized to be as simple or as complex as needed.

Webex Meetings Reliability

The wide variety of options available with Webex Meetings ("service types", in-meeting and post-meeting options, etc.) make for a platform that can be easily adopted by various departments providing access to features that complement their needs.
I rarely, if ever, encounter service interruptions with Webex Meetings. The platform has always been a stable one and any issues that arise are addressed and resolved quickly.
Overall, Webex's in-meeting performance has been consistent and is one of the smoothest I've experienced. Whereas another platform in the same realm, that I've used, experienced more issues. Webex's feel has always been one that puts it on the top end of the collaboration tools available. Other aspects (e.g., reporting, recording publishing, etc.) are completed in a short timeframe with 24 hours being the longest duration on rare occasions.
